I wrote two diamante poems. One is Jam and jelly(synonym) and one is tree and furniture(antonym)

Photo Essay - my experience at GLPS

A picture is worth a thousand words. What does this mean? It means that you can describe a picture with a lot of words. I will show you my experience in GLPS

UFO and a plane

This is a picture I drew just for fun in the dormitory during 1st self study period because I was bored. Gladly, I didn't get caught. This is a picture is an alien spaceship trying to steal a person with a green shirt even if you don't see it. The white plane on the top is trying to stop this by dropping a bomb on the spaceship.

This is a picture of the history class we took. I did a presentation and the result wasn't good. Samsung, Wade, Peter and Alice is wearing a gray KMLA shirt and Dogeun is wearing blue clothes. As you can see, there are 4 brown desks. The red clock on the wall shows 2:31.                                      

our 12 floor dormitory

This is a picture of the dormitory before lunch. We did archery before I took this. There are blue words on the wall of the building and the tree is blocking it. There is a tree blocking some of the words but that is still a good picture.

This is a picture of our room in 303. It isn't quite messy as you can see but  the black chairs are not really organized. Wade is looking at a white book and wearing a light blue KMLA shirt. The bed that is the most close is mine.

This is our debate class. Our debate TA who is wearing white pants and red shirts. Clara is wearing a yellow shirt. Angelina is wearing gray and soobin is wearing light blue and and blue striped shirt. Skye is doing her pink phone and Sally is leaning on the wheely chair.

This is a picture of blog writing. this is minjok 124 and Ms Hieke is the one with the blond hair. Wade is the closest to the camera making v in his hand. Dogeun is wearing a red Harvard shit and lying down on the table while writing something.

This is math class. Dogeun is once more wearing that red harvard shirt. Wade is wearing white glasses and a sky blue shirt. Sam is looking at dogeun with great interest. He is the one wearing a green shirt. The white board is blank as you can see.

creative writing(time machine)

It was 2035. There was a lab called Grizzly Lab in Washington D.C. The time scientists were working the machines in the night. The clock read 11:30. The owner of this laboratory were working this project. Sparks flew making a great sight.. There was a thing that looked like a big smartphone. the black screen suddenly got brighter and brighter until there was a boom and a tunnel appeared the 4 people highfived. Their names were Chocolate, James, Henry, and Jack. Jack pressed 7000000002035 and pressed past. The hole made a great light. The four people, Chocolate, James, Henry, and Jack went in There was a quick flash of 2013,1811,107,65 B.C, and finally 70000000000000 B.C. They wore their space suit and went out.  They were in a crater in a meteoroid There was a another space after all. They looked around the crater, intrigued. "Hey don't you think it's getting hot in here?" Henry said. They looked around and saw a star, a supernova which was purple, about to destroy the whole of the comet. They squeaked like mice and Chocolate pressed any buttons and pressed forward. A tremendous light came out of the hole. They jumped in. Chocolate said" That was a close call. 700 B.C., 300 B.C., 300, 2000,7000,, 70631. They got off. Jack was the first one to open his mouth. An amazing sight appeared in their eyes. It was a great la there were in a lab there were robots everywhere. Monsters were in bottles but found out that they were body parts. It was alive! Then something happened, "Intruders!!!" Robots came. They went backwards. They tied them up with a glowing thing that made everyone scream in pain. There were 4 chairs and sitting there were..."Jack, Chocolate, Henry and James!?"I knew you would come" That was Chocolate!" Choco should we should we free the ropes?" That was James's voice!"Yes we should Jam" That was Jack! "Don't call me Jam , Jackie!" "Well you should have known, we are your future selves" Chocolate opened his mouth first"But how can you live for about like 70000 years?" The future James answered"Well we invented a potion that makes you live for 1000000 years. We drank it when we were 35 didn't we?" They all nodded in agreement. There was a moment silence until there was an alarm "WAAAAAA! meteorite 308jx2halley coming straight for the lab WAAAAAA!" The future selves gave the potion and future James said"Drink the potion!!!"

The wizard of OZ(movie review)

There is a movie called "The Wizard of OZ"It was 1939 when this movie was made. It's directory is Victor Flaming. This movie is based on the book called"The Great Wizard of OZ" and its author is Frank Baun. It is a fantasy movie. The characters are Dorothy, Toto, Tin man, the  scarecrow, the wicked witch of the west,, munchkins, the good witch, the lion, Emerald City citizens, and the wizard of oz. The settings are munchkin land, farm in Kansas, the yellow brick road, farmland, forest, the jungle and the emerald city. The story is this; Dorothy was feeling sad because Toto is going away. Toto is leaving because, Toto bit someone. Then Toto comes back home but scared that the someone would  want Toto  so she runs away, she meets a truth sayer and she sees her aunt sad that she ran  away form home. But when she arrives home, a tornado strikes and the house flies away. When she opens the door, she meets the good witch and the munchkins. Dorothy finds out that her house killed one of the wicked witch. The good witch tells her to follow the yellow brick road. Dorothy wants to go home and heads to the wizard's castle. She meets the scarecrow, the tinman, and the lion. Who each want a brain, a heart and courage. They meet the wizard. and after an adventure at the wicked witch's castle, they get a broom for the wizard of oz. The wizard of oz tries  to take Dorothy home

My goals for GLPS

Now, I'll introduce my goals for GLPS My goals are getting better at debate, getting at least 1 green card every week, and making the best history report.

My first goal is getting better during debate. I am very good at debate but I'm not the top in debate. My debate teacher at GLPS, Mr Wayne, told me I was doing a good job, but that I was going off track. The first step I will do is making my speech on debate concentrated on one specific topic. After I do that, I'll try to add things like examples and evidence.

My second goal is getting green cards once every week. There are lots of ways to get green cards such as clean your room properly, or show improvement during classes. First, I will concentrate during classes and try to do my best and not giving up. Then, I will always keep our room tidy and neat.

My last goal is making the best history report. I like to research but I get frustrated when I can't find the right one. Our teacher said on 7/30, today, that he was satisfied every one's work, but I wanted to be the best. I will first find as many information as I can. Then I would use those information and I will put a introduction and ask research question and I  will be entertaining.

These are the three goals. My first is getting to being a good debater. My second goal is getting at least one green card every week and my last goal is making the best history presentation ever!

self introduction

Let me introduce myself. I've been to America for 1 and a half years. I've moved 6 times, Seoul to Ilsan, Ilsan to Ilsan, Ilsan to America, America to Paju, Paju to Cheongju, and Cheongju to Cheongju. Because I moved a lot, I've never been in one place for more than 6 years. I am 13  years old. I have 14 board games. My favorite sport are bowling, tennis and riding a bike. My favorite subjects are science and math, so it is obvious that I want to be a scientist or a mathmetician.
